Masking the tank: from a technical object to an art object
Performer
A large technical tank was located on the site, which stood out from the general style of the garden and needed masking. Simply covering it with camouflage nets or repainting it did not solve the problem. The client wanted this element to become an organic part of the landscape.
Initially, wooden trellises were designed and installed, which were later to partially cover the tank with climbing plants and create a more harmonious appearance.
However, this was not enough: there was one more key point – a material was needed that would immediately provide a holistic “green effect”, look as natural as possible, and not require a long waiting time for growth.
Engard Company offered artificial landscaping that met the requirements:
1. the tank was to be transformed into an art object, harmoniously integrated into the space;
2. the material should resemble live plants as closely as possible;
3. the coating had to be durable and resistant to fading in the sun.
As a result:
- instant “green wall” effect without long waiting;
- no complex maintenance;
- stable appearance in any season.
Conclusion
This case well demonstrates how landscape solutions can change the perception of space: a technical element turned into a decorative dominant that became part of the overall concept of the garden.
